Netflix India Unveils Star-Studded 2025 Content Slate Featuring Movies and Series

NEWS CHARIOT : Netflix India has rolled out its highly anticipated content slate for 2025, featuring a diverse range of movies, television series, and unscripted shows. The lineup boasts 25 titles, including six films, 14 series, and five unscripted projects, covering a variety of genres like drama, action, romantic comedies, thrillers, and more.

One of the standout announcements is the Bollywood-themed series The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, created and directed by Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan. The series, produced by Gauri Khan, will explore the world of Bollywood through the eyes of an ambitious outsider, blending humor with high-stakes drama. The series will also feature several celebrity cameos, adding to its appeal.

Netflix also unveiled Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins, a gripping drama film directed by Siddharth Anand, starring Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat. In addition, Nadaaniyan will introduce Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan, in his acting debut, alongside Khushi Kapoor.

On the unscripted front, Dining With The Kapoors promises an exclusive look into the lives of Bollywood’s first family, including Randhir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and others. Directed by Smriti Mundhra of Indian Matchmaking fame, this series will highlight the Kapoor family’s love for food and cinema.

Netflix is also making strides in regional content, with its first Telugu original series Super Subbu, a comedy-drama, and a Tamil cricket drama film Test, starring Nayanthara, R. Madhavan, and Siddharth.

Returning favorites include the third seasons of The Great Indian Kapil Show and Delhi Crime, as well as new seasons of Rana Naidu, Kohrra, and Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. Netflix also teased future projects from its ongoing collaboration with Yash Raj Films, such as the gangster queen tale Akka and the crime thriller Mandala Murders.

With a blend of new content and returning hits, Netflix India is poised to offer an unparalleled variety of world-class entertainment to its audience in 2025.
