Raveena Tandon’s Daughter Rasha Reflects on Her Unconventional Upbringing and Bollywood Journey

NEWS CHARIOT : Actor Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha, recently shared insights into her unique upbringing, which she described as “complete and utter madness.” In a candid interview, Rasha opened up about growing up with her mother’s adopted daughters, Pooja and Chaya. Raveena had adopted Pooja and Chaya in 1995 at the age of 21, and later, in 2004, she married film distributor Anil Thadani, with whom she had two children—Rasha and Ranbirvardhan.
Reflecting on her childhood, Rasha mentioned that the four siblings often formed teams, with Chaya and Ranbir being the calmer duo, while she and Pooja were always ready for arguments and playful squabbles. The close-knit bond among the siblings has clearly been a defining part of Rasha’s life, as she recalled the fun and chaos of growing up together.
Raveena Tandon has often spoken about her deep connection with her adopted daughters. In a 2016 interview, she shared how special it was for her to walk Pooja and Chaya down the aisle, adding that they are her “best friends” and an integral part of her life.
Rasha’s Bollywood journey took its first step this year with the release of Azaad, a film set in pre-Independence India, exploring themes of love, loyalty, and courage through the bond between humans and animals. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, Azaad hit theaters on January 17. Despite the high expectations surrounding her debut, the film struggled at the box office, failing to make a significant impact.
Although her first venture didn’t achieve commercial success, Rasha’s journey in Bollywood is just beginning, and fans are excited to see what the future holds for the young actor.
