NIT Warangal to Host ‘Spring Spree’ Cultural Festival from February 28 to March 2

NEWS CHARIOT : The National Institute of Technology Warangal (NITW) is all set to host its much-anticipated cultural festival, Spring Spree, from February 28 to March 2. University director, Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi, made the announcement during a press meet held at the university’s premises in Hanamkonda on Thursday. He stated that since its inception in 1978, Spring Spree has evolved into one of South India’s largest cultural fests, offering a perfect blend of fun, competition, and intellectual stimulation through a wide variety of events.

This year’s edition promises to be even more exciting, with a rich lineup of competitions, performances, and workshops in areas such as art, literature, drama, music, fashion shows, and photography. The fest will also feature electrifying pro shows, offering a vibrant cultural experience for all attendees.

Highlighting some of the major attractions, Prof. Subudhi shared that the event will kick off on February 28 with Padma Shri Dr. K. Brahmanandam, the legendary comedian and actor, gracing the event as the chief guest. On March 1, the Indian rock band Vortex will perform, blending folk, rock, and alternative music to captivate the audience. The festival will close on March 2 with a musical night featuring popular singer Amit Trivedi, promising an unforgettable finale.

In addition to star performances, Spring Spree will feature engaging competitions, workshops, and activities, including stage plays, drama, filmmaking, dance, and gaming. The festival will bring together students from across the country to showcase their talent, creativity, and passion for the arts. With its vibrant atmosphere and diverse events, Spring Spree 2025 is set to be an extraordinary cultural extravaganza.
