Karnataka Congress Leaders Warn Rashmika Mandanna Over Alleged Disrespect

NEWS CHARIOT:-Popular actress Rashmika Mandanna has landed in controversy after Karnataka Congress leaders issued a stern warning against her. They accused her of neglecting Karnataka and criticized her publicly in a press conference. The leaders alleged that Rashmika has consistently ignored the state and vowed to teach her a lesson soon.

The controversy erupted after Rashmika reportedly refused to attend the International Film Festival held in Bengaluru recently. Several Karnataka Congress leaders had invited her to be part of the prestigious event, but she allegedly declined, stating that she considers Hyderabad her home and has little connection with Karnataka. This statement has sparked widespread outrage among political leaders, film industry professionals, and fans.

This is not the first time Rashmika has been accused of showing indifference toward Karnataka and its film industry. In the past, several Kannada filmmakers and actors have criticized her for not acknowledging her roots despite having started her career in the Kannada film industry. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has also expressed strong displeasure over the issue. He criticized actors who failed to attend the event, emphasizing that such prestigious occasions are organized to celebrate Karnataka’s rich cinematic culture. He urged Kannada filmmakers to take necessary action against those who repeatedly ignore state events.

“If Kannada actors themselves do not attend such events, what is the point of organizing them? I know how to handle those who do not change their attitude,” Shivakumar warned.The controversy has fueled heated discussions among fans, film enthusiasts, and political circles. While some argue that Rashmika has the right to choose her professional commitments, others believe she should show more respect to her home state and acknowledge the industry that gave her a break.
