Special Trains Announced for Holi Festival

NEWS CHARIOT : In view of the increased passenger traffic for the Holi festival, South Central Railway officials have announced special trains to facilitate travel to North India. The special trains will operate via Kazipet Railway Station to meet the growing demand.

Special trains will run between Cherlapally-Danapur-Cherlapally (07709/07710) and Cherlapally-Muzaffarpur-Cherlapally  (07711/07712) for ten trips.The Charlapalli-Danapur train will depart on the 9th and 19th of this month at 3:10 PM and reach Danapur at 11:55 PM the next day.The return journey from Danapur will be on the 11th and 21st at 3:15 PM, arriving in Cherlapally at 11:45 PM the following day.Another train from Cherlapally  to Muzaffarpur will depart on the 10th, 15th, and 20th of this month at 3:10 PM, reaching Muzaffarpur at 2:00 AM on the second day.The return journey from Muzaffarpur will be on the 12th, 17th, and 22nd at 4:15 AM, reaching Charlapalli at 6:00 PM on the second day.

The Charlapalli-Danapur train will stop at Kazipet, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Mancherial, Bellampalli, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Ballarshah, Chandrapur, Sevagram, Nagpur, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Madan Mahal, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj, Chheoki, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, and Agra stations. The Muzaffarpur train will also halt at Danapur, Patliputra, and Hajipur stations in addition to the above stops.

Officials have stated that these special trains will include 2 AC coaches, 3 AC coaches, 3 AC (Economy) coaches, Sleeper class, and General Second Class coaches. They have urged passengers traveling to North India to book their tickets in advance to ensure a hassle-free journey. Passengers are advised to check railway schedules and reserve tickets at the earliest.
