NEWS CHARIOT:-Banna Venkatesh, a native of Alladapeta in Jalumuru Mandal, has secured an impressive 15th rank in the prestigious Civil Services Examination, marking a remarkable achievement in his journey to become an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. His success is being hailed as an inspiration to young aspirants, particularly those from rural areas.

Born in the remote village of Alladapeta, Venkatesh completed his primary education there and developed a passion for cricket during his school days. Although he was selected for district-level teams, he never had the opportunity to play in a match. After completing his engineering, he even participated in the IPL auction, but his cricketing dreams did not materialize. Undeterred, Venkatesh joined a software company, earning a salary of ₹23 lakhs per year.

It was during his time at the software company that he was inspired by friends who were preparing for the Civil Services exam. Recalling childhood lessons about the honor of becoming an IAS officer, he decided to pursue this path. He began preparing alongside his job, opting for online coaching during the pandemic. In his first attempt, Venkatesh cleared the mains but did not succeed in the final selection. In his second attempt, he was selected for the Indian Police Service (IPS) and began training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Police Academy in Hyderabad. However, his dream of becoming an IAS officer remained intact.

In his third attempt, Venkatesh secured a rank of 15, fulfilling his childhood dream. His achievement has brought pride to his family and village, with local residents celebrating his success. The recognition from Union Minister K. Rammohan Naidu, State Minister K. Achenna Naidu, and local MLA Baggub Ramana Murthy highlight the significance of his accomplishment.

Venkatesh’s journey serves as a powerful reminder that with hard work and perseverance, even individuals from the most remote areas can achieve their dreams and make a significant impact in the nation.
