NIT Warangal Launches Summer Internship Program 2025 with Orientation Ceremony
NEWS CHARIOT:-The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal kicked off its prestigious Summer Internship Program 2025 with an engaging orientation session at the Ambedkar Learning Centre. The program, aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students from across the nation, began after an extensive selection process that saw 219 students chosen for participation.
These interns will work alongside NIT Warangal’s distinguished faculty, engaging in cutting-edge research across multiple scientific and technological domains. The internship program, which runs until July 9, 2025, will offer students an opportunity to collaborate in various departments and research laboratories within the institute, gaining valuable insights and practical experience.
Professor Bidyadhar Subudhi, Director of NIT Warangal, inaugurated the program and addressed the attendees, encouraging the students to embrace the opportunity for personal and academic growth. “This internship is a transformative platform to nurture your curiosity and strengthen your research foundation,” he said, urging the interns to make the most of the experience.
Professor A. Sarat Babu, Dean (Academics), formally welcomed the interns, highlighting the institute’s commitment to academic excellence and its vibrant research environment. He emphasized how the internship would help foster an innovative mindset among the students.
Professor M. Heeralal, the program’s In-charge, provided a detailed overview of the internship’s structure and objectives. He stressed the importance of developing research aptitude and encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance the interns’ overall learning experience.
Professor Abdul Azeem, Chief Warden, spoke about the accommodation and welfare arrangements for the interns, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the program. He also urged the students to actively participate in all aspects of the internship.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Professor Bhargavi D, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and participants for making the orientation a success.
