Grand Celebrations of Saraswati Pushkaralu at Triveni Sangamam

 

NEWS CHARIOT:-The sacred Saraswati Pushkaralu were celebrated with great devotion and grandeur at the Triveni Sangamam in Kaleshwaram, where the mythical Saraswati River is believed to flow underground. Telangana Minister for Agriculture, Handlooms, Textiles, and Cooperation, Tummala Nageswara Rao, expressed immense joy over the spiritual atmosphere and active participation of devotees.

 

Arriving at Kaleshwaram by helicopter from Hyderabad at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Minister Tummala, along with Khammam MP Ramasahayam Raghurama Reddy and MLAs Gandra Satyanarayana Rao and Makan Singh, took a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam. They later offered prayers to Goddess Saraswati and visited the revered Sri Kaleshwara Muktheshwara Swamy temple.

 

Speaking to the media, the Minister said he prayed for a prosperous Telangana, abundant crops, and the well-being of its people. He called on devotees to make the most of the sacred occasion by participating in the ritual baths during the Pushkaralu.

 

Highlighting the significance of the event, Minister Tummala noted that these are the first Pushkaralu being conducted under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He mentioned that the state government is committed to organizing the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu on a similarly grand scale. Instructions have already been issued by the Chief Minister to begin preparations without delay, ensuring timely completion of works for a smooth and successful celebration.

 

The Minister appreciated the efforts of Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, public representatives, and the district administration in making the event a success. He offered special prayers for the divine blessings of the deities to be upon every devotee.

 

Before departing at 11:00 AM, Minister Tummala was honored with temple rituals, Vedic chants, and sacred offerings. The event was attended by District Collector Rahul Sharma, SP Kiran Khare, Additional Collectors Ashok Kumar and Vijayalakshmi, Bhupalpally RDO Ravi, and Endowments Department RJC Ramakrishna Rao, among others.
