Tirumala Temple: 18-Hour Wait for Darshan Due to Heavy Pilgrim Rush

NEWS CHARIOT (Tirupati, Dec.15) : Pilgrims visiting the Tirumala temple are facing an 18-hour wait for darshan today. Devotees are currently waiting in the 22 compartments of the Vaikuntham Queue Complex.

Those without tokens are experiencing an extended wait for the Sarvadarshan (general darshan) of Lord Venkateswara. Yesterday, a total of 72,962 devotees had darshan of the deity.

A total of 30,645 devotees have offered their hair at the Tirumala temple, and the Hundi collection has amounted to ₹3.37 crores. Additionally, the Dhanurmasa month will begin from December 16 at Tirumala.

For the next month, the traditional Suprabhata Seva will be replaced by the Tiruppavai ritual for Lord Venkateswara. Moreover, the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan will be available from January 10 to 19, offering devotees a special opportunity for darshan during this period.
