Three 6th-grade students spend the night in fields after playing, fearing punishment

NEWS CHARIOT (Kothagudem, Dec.18) : In a heartwarming yet concerning incident, three 6th-grade students from Mondikunta village in Aswapuram mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, lost track of time while playing after school yesterday evening. Forgetting to return home, they were overtaken by fear of being scolded by their parents for being late.

As night fell, the children decided not to return home and instead slept near the bushes close to a paddy procurement center. The parents of the three children grew anxious when their children didn’t return home, even late at night. Worried, they informed relatives and alerted the village elders. The entire village joined hands, searching tirelessly in every possible location.

When no trace of the children was found, the parents approached the police. The police immediately took up the matter, conducting an extensive search throughout the night. Despite their efforts, they were unable to locate the children.

Next day morning, a farmer visiting a paddy procurement center to dry grain spotted the missing children sleeping near the bushes beside the grain sacks. Overjoyed at the sight, the farmer immediately informed the police.

The police and locals rushed to the spot and were relieved to find the children safe. The discovery brought immense relief to the anxious parents and villagers, marking a happy end to an otherwise tense situation.
