Salman Khan Upgrades Security with Bulletproof Windows After Firing Incident

NEWS CHARIOT : A year after the firing incident outside his residence, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has taken steps to enhance his security. A recent video shows workers installing bulletproof windows at his Mumbai home, Galaxy Apartments. These new windows are positioned in areas where the actor typically greets fans during festive occasions like Eid. This upgrade comes ahead of the release of his upcoming film Sikandar, which will coincide with the Eid celebrations, making the security improvements vital for his safety.
The firing incident occurred on April 14, 2024, when two men fired four rounds outside the building before fleeing the scene. The attack was later claimed by Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Following the incident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Mumbai Police Commissioner discussed increasing Salman’s security. The actor, who also owns a licensed revolver for personal protection, has continued to prioritize safety.
In addition to security matters, Salman Khan is gearing up for his much-anticipated film Sikandar, which will release on Eid 2025. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, marks the reunion of Khan and Nadiadwala after their 2014 hit Kick. Fans are also eagerly awaiting the upcoming Kick 2, a sequel to the action-comedy Kick.
