Principal Forces Female Students to Leave Without Shirts in Jharkhand School

NEWS CHARIOT : A shocking incident occurred in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, at a well-known private school, where the principal allegedly forced 80 female students to leave school without their shirts. The students, who were celebrating a “PEN DAY” event, were humiliated by the principal after he expressed anger over their participation in the event.

On Thursday, the female students, mostly 10th graders, had taken part in the “PEN DAY” celebrations, where they wrote wishes on each other’s shirts. Around 100 students were involved in the event. However, the principal reportedly disapproved of the activity and reacted harshly.

After the event, the principal scolded the students and removed their shirts, ordering them not to wear them again. Instead, they were only allowed to wear their blazers and were sent home in this attire. Distressed students, some of whom were in tears, reported the incident to their parents, and videos of their emotional reactions spread on social media. Many described the day as ‘heartbreaking.’

The incident sparked outrage among parents, who visited the Deputy Commissioner’s office demanding strict action against the principal. Local MLA Raghini Singh, who also expressed her anger, called the incident “unfortunate and disgraceful.” She joined the parents in meeting with Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra, who assured that the matter would be taken seriously. A committee has been formed to investigate the incident, and strict actions will be taken against those responsible.

Raghini Singh, expressing her shock as a woman, said, “Seeing such behavior towards young girls is appalling. The government is committed to ensuring justice in this case.” The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
