Horrific Murder in Hyderabad’s Meerpet: Husband Kills and Dismembers Wife’s Body in Chilling Fashion

NEWS CHARIOT : In a horrifying turn of events, a gruesome murder case in Hyderabad’s Meerpet has stunned the public as shocking details about the crime unfold. Gurumurthy, the main accused in this case, has reportedly given police statements that are sending chills down their spines. Gurumurthy, a former soldier in the Indian Army and later a security guard at DRDO, had been suspicious of his wife, Madhavi, for a long time. His controlling nature, constantly monitoring her phone and movements, escalated over time, with reports even suggesting he installed a CCTV camera in their bedroom.

On January 16th, the couple’s escalating tensions reached a breaking point. Gurumurthy had been plotting his wife’s murder for some time. Before carrying out the killing, he conducted a disturbing experiment on a dog. He killed the animal, dismembered its body, boiled the parts in large pots, and then dried them into powder, showing no empathy or remorse.

Following the murder of Madhavi, Gurumurthy turned to crime movies like Drishyam for inspiration on how to cover up his brutal act. Emulating the film’s plot, he dismembered Madhavi’s body, boiled the pieces, and dried them. He then disposed of her remains in a local Meerpet lake. This twisted act was further fueled by violent movies and shows he had watched on YouTube and streaming platforms.

The truth came to light when a relative of Gurumurthy, who lived in the Uppal area, grew suspicious and reported the incident to the police. Despite confessing to the crime, Gurumurthy showed no remorse during interrogation.
