Alleged MLC Kavitha Letter Criticizes BRS Strategy, Sparks Buzz Online

NEWS CHARIOT:-A letter allegedly written by MLC K. Kavitha, daughter of BRS chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), is creating a stir on social media. The six-page letter, though unverified, offers candid feedback on the party’s recent activities, especially pointing to lapses during the Warangal public meeting.
In the letter, Kavitha reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with the event’s planning and flow. She noted that senior party leaders should have addressed the gathering before KCR took the stage, emphasizing that those who have been with BRS since 2001 should have been given speaking opportunities. She voiced concerns that key leaders and longtime workers were being sidelined, and that the party failed to make a strong impression on grassroots “Dhundham” workers.
Another key highlight from the letter was her suggestion that KCR should have taken a stronger stance against the BJP. Kavitha mentioned that rumors of a future alliance with the BJP were causing confusion among supporters, and she, too, had been deeply troubled by the BJP’s actions. She urged KCR to target the BJP more aggressively in speeches to counter these speculations.
Kavitha also addressed Congress criticism, which accused the BRS of supporting the BJP by not contesting the MLC elections. She recommended organizing 1–2 plenary sessions to clarify the party’s stance. The letter further raised concerns about the lack of discussion on SC classification and the Waqf Act, and the mismanagement of local body elections, where priority was allegedly given to old in-charges over Telangana activists.
Despite these criticisms, she concluded that the party cadre seemed satisfied with the Warangal Sabha, though more impact was expected.
