Big Alert for the AP State Public: Heavy Rains Expected Due to Low Pressure

NEWS CHARIOT (Andhra Pradesh, Dec.15) : The Amaravati Meteorological Department has issued a warning for the state’s residents, stating that there is a possibility of heavy rainfall today due to the presence of a low-pressure system. People are advised to be cautious as the weather conditions may lead to significant rainfall in various regions.

The Amaravati Meteorological Department has confirmed that a low-pressure system is expected to form in the South Bay of Bengal today. Over the next two days, it is predicted to move in a northwest direction and reach the Tamil Nadu coast. The department has advised the public to stay alert as this weather system could bring changes in the regional climate.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning stating that the low-pressure system will cause widespread rainfall in the coastal and Rayalaseema regions on the 17th and 18th of this month. Additionally, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Nellore, Tirupati, Prakasam, Chittoor, and Annamayya districts. The public has been advised to stay prepared for adverse weather conditions.
