BRS Leader KTR Fulfills His Promise to a Small Tea Vendor

NEWS CHARIOT:-BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has once again demonstrated his commitment to the people by fulfilling a promise made to a small tea vendor in the Rajanna Sircilla district.

During the recent elections, municipal authorities shut down a tea stall named after KTR, citing the absence of a trade license. The tea vendor, Bathula Srinivas, was deeply affected by this closure. Upon hearing about his plight, KTR assured him of support and promised to help re-establish his business.

On February 19, municipal authorities in Rajanna Sircilla dismantled Srinivas’ tea stall near Bathukamma Ghat. Later that evening, BRS supporters reopened it, but officials intervened again on February 21, removing the stall with police protection and transporting it away using a tractor. Devastated by the repeated shutdowns, Srinivas staged a protest outside the municipal office, breaking down in tears.

KTR, upon learning of the incident, personally called Srinivas and reassured him of his support. True to his word, during his recent visit to Sircilla, KTR extended financial assistance to the vendor and advised him to set up a new tea stall at a different location.

Following KTR’s guidance, Srinivas re-established his tea stall at Gandhi Chowk, once again naming it after KTR. On Sunday evening, KTR, along with MLC Ramana, officially inaugurated the new tea stall, bringing much-needed relief to the struggling vendor.

This act of support has won widespread appreciation, highlighting KTR’s dedication to helping small business owners in need.
