Cheddi & Tattoo Gang Strikes in Warangal : Bold Heist Shocks Locals

NEWS CHARIOT– In a shocking turn of events, the “Cheddi and Tattoo” gang carried out a daring two-hour heist in Warangal early Thursday morning, leaving the local community stunned. The gang, consisting of six members, executed the robbery at a residential house near Kakatiya University Junction, where they managed to evade security measures and loot the premises.
The robbery unfolded around 1:40 AM when the gang scaled the walls of the house of Venkatanarayana, located near Kakatiya University Gate. Disguised in black masks and wearing distinctive “cheddis” (shorts) and tattoos on their forearms, the perpetrators spent almost two hours inside the house, ransacking the property. They disabled CCTV cameras and accessed the house through a window grill after failing to open the main door.
During the heist, the gang mistakenly believed a golden-coated idol and two coins in the house to be valuable gold, which they stole. The residents woke up to find signs of the break-in and immediately alerted the police. Local authorities responded swiftly, examining CCTV footage and launching a statewide alert, suspecting the involvement of an interstate gang.
In a press statement, CI Tumm Gopi urged the public to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions, such as locking doors and setting up security systems. The police continue to investigate, using technology to trace the gang’s movements and urging citizens to report any suspicious activity.
