CM Revanth Reddy Highlights Telangana’s Vision at Japan Telugu Federation Event

NEWS CHARIOT:-Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed the Telugu diaspora at a special event organized by the Japan Telugu Federation, outlining his government’s vision for the state’s future development and seeking global collaboration.
In his speech, the Chief Minister emphasized Telangana’s remarkable progress in the IT and pharmaceutical sectors, stating that the state is well on its way to becoming a global competitor. He announced plans to establish a dry port in Telangana to enhance logistics and trade infrastructure.
Drawing inspiration from Japan, he shared insights from his visit to Tokyo’s riverfront development, expressing a desire to replicate similar models in Telangana. “Water is not just a necessity—it is symbolic of our culture and growth,” he said, reinforcing the government’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
Revanth Reddy highlighted the urgent need to clean Hyderabad’s Musi River, while noting that some opposition has delayed the initiative. He pointed to Delhi’s pollution crisis, where schools and institutions are often forced to shut down, as a cautionary tale. “We must act now to prevent such a scenario in Telangana,” he urged.
The Chief Minister also listed key infrastructure projects such as metro rail expansion, the Regional Ring Road, and radial roads, calling them vital to the state’s progress. He appealed to investors and the global Telugu community to contribute ideas and support development initiatives.
“Our goal is to attract more investments, promote industrial growth, and create employment opportunities,” he stated. “Everyone has a role to play. If each person does their part, we can compete with the world.”
Revanth Reddy concluded by encouraging the diaspora to share their expertise and ideas with the state government, highlighting the pride that comes from contributing to the growth of one’s homeland.
