Collector Holds Review Meeting with Political Party Representatives

NEWS CHARIOT (Suryapet, Dec.12) : In view of the upcoming Village Sarpanch and Ward Member elections, a review meeting was held under the leadership of the District Collector Tejas Nandlal Pawar, along with Additional Collector P. Rambabu here at the IDOC Video Conference Hall in Suryapet district.

The session was attended by representatives from recognized political parties in the district, following instructions from the State Election Commission.

During the meeting, the Collector requested that if recognized political leaders have any suggestions, recommendations, or objections regarding the draft polling stations, they should inform the authorities.

He instructed officials to ensure that the draft voter list is free of errors and double entries, and to ensure that polling centers are accessible to everyone. The draft voter list will be provided to recognized political parties.

The meeting was attended by DPO Narayanareddy, DRDA Project Officer V.V. Apparao, Elections Superintendents Srinivasraju and Venu, and representatives from various political parties, including Rajeshwar Rao from Indian Congress, Satyanarayana from BRS, M.D. Abid from BJP, Kota Gopi from CPI(M), Kiran from CPI ML Democracy, and Ramesh from YSRCP.
