Collector Pamela Satpathy Emphasizes Full Facilities at Bhavita Centers for Divyang Students

NEWS CHARIOT:-Karimnagar District Collector Pamela Satpathy has directed officials to ensure that all necessary facilities and amenities are provided at Bhavita Centers established for students with special needs. During her visit to the Bhavita Center in Mukharampura on Monday, she inspected ongoing painting work and issued key instructions to enhance the learning environment.

The Collector emphasized that the surroundings of the center should be child-friendly and visually appealing. She instructed officials to undertake attractive painting work to engage the children and suggested that plants be planted around the center to enhance greenery. Additionally, she stressed the need for a dedicated playground to support physical activity and recreation.

She further directed that essential equipment and educational materials for children with special needs must be procured without delay. Collector Satpathy also insisted that railings and ramps be installed securely to ensure accessibility. A physiotherapist must be assigned to the center to cater to the physical development needs of Divyang students.

Extending the same vision to other centers, she recommended that Bhavita Centers in Huzurabad, Choppadandi, Manakondur, and Thimmapur adopt similar improvements. Wall paintings and play materials should be included in each center to make learning more interactive and enjoyable.

The Collector set a target for all modernization work to be completed by June 1, ensuring the centers are fully functional for the upcoming academic year. She also urged officials to admit eligible Divyang students and provide them with the necessary support to aid their mental and physical development.

The visit was attended by Nehru Yuva Kendra Coordinator Rambabu, GCDO Kriparani, Planning Coordinator Milkuri Srinivas, and Anjaneyu.
