Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar Vows to Fight for Workers’ Rights at May Day Celebrations

NEWS CHARIOT:-In a strong show of solidarity with the working class, former Chief Whip and BRS Hanamkonda District President Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar pledged his commitment to the upliftment and consciousness of the working world. He was speaking as the chief guest at the International Workers’ Day (May Day) celebrations organized by the Prataparudra Auto Union at Kazipet Railway Station.

Vinay Bhaskar began the event by hoisting the national flag and extended heartfelt greetings to the working community on the occasion of May Day. He announced that special programs would be held throughout the month of May in honor of workers, particularly auto workers and daily wage earners who form the backbone of society.

He expressed deep concern over the plight of auto workers under the 16-Month rule of the Congress government, stating that their lives had reached a standstill. He shockingly revealed that over 50 auto drivers had committed suicide in the past year due to financial distress. He demanded the immediate implementation of the Congress party’s poll promise of providing an annual salary of Rs. 12,000 to every auto worker.

Vinay Bhaskar also slammed both the state and central governments, labeling them as anti-labor regimes. He criticized the delay in wage increases for municipal workers, calling for immediate action starting with currently employed workers. He also regretted that children of working families are unable to pursue higher education, demanding special reservations for them in education and employment.

The BRS leader vowed to launch protests in the coming days if the government fails to address the issues of laborers and ensure their welfare.

The event saw participation from RPFCI Chatterjee, Prataparudra Auto Union President Motla Narsingh, General Secretary Santosh, Treasurer Shankar Nayak, and other union leaders including Gaddam Narahari, Paladugula Ravi, Shiva, Bokka Swamy, Bachchu Anil Kumar, JK, Ramesh, and Sampath.
