Doctors Successfully Perform Rare Surgery at Peddapalli Government Hospital

NEWS CHARIOT:-A team of skilled doctors at the Government Hospital in Peddapalli district has successfully carried out a rare and delicate laparoscopic surgery on a woman, earning praise from local authorities for their expertise.

The patient, a woman from Peddapalli town, had undergone a cesarean operation six months ago. Following the surgery, she began experiencing persistent abdominal pain, which was later diagnosed as appendicitis by a physician at a private hospital. Despite initial consultations, the woman’s condition worsened, prompting her to seek emergency treatment at the Peddapalli Government Hospital on Friday.

Upon her arrival, General Surgeon Dr. Sai Prasad immediately examined the patient and decided to admit her for treatment. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Dr. Prasad called upon laparoscopic surgery specialist Dr. Amara Simha Reddy to assist in performing the surgery.

On Saturday, the surgical team successfully completed the laparoscopic appendectomy, a minimally invasive procedure that requires high levels of precision and expertise. The surgery was attended by a team of medical professionals, including Dr. Sai Prasad, Dr. Amara Simha Reddy, Superintendent Dr. K.
