NEWS CHARIOT (Kothagudem, Nov.15) : A farmer set a trend by tying a flexy in his palm oil plantation field warning the persons who consume alcohol in his field that he would inform police personnel if they trespass his fields and drink alcohol. The dialogue on flexy which said ‘Naa Thotalo Mandu Yesthe Policelaku Cheptha’ became a trend here in Dammapeta mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
A farmer Rajiv tied flexy in his fields after being vexed with the persons who started consuming alcohol in his fields. Now, flexy has become viral in the region.Unlike remaining all other crops, the farmers growing palm-oil will not be in the fields every time. Using modern technology of drip irrigation system with help of auto starters, the farmers will be irrigating the fields.
Taking this as an advantage, the liquor lovers began to use the palm-oil plantation as their venue to drink alcohol. After drinking alcohol they leave all waste materials in the field. So being vexed with the people, the farmer Rajiv tied the banner to warn the people who drink alcohol in his agriculture land.
