Empowering Aspirants: UPSC Awareness Seminar Held at Pingili Government Women’s College

NEWS CHARIOT:-A one-day awareness seminar on Civil Services examinations titled “Competitive Exams and Career Choices ,Winning Strategies for a Bright Future” was held at Pingili Government Women’s Degree College (A), Vaddepalli, Hanumakonda. The event, organized by the college’s Competitive Cell and Career Guidance Cell, aimed to motivate and guide students aspiring to enter government services.

The seminar featured an inspiring session by Vishnu Vardhan, Director of Modern Gurukula UPSC Preparation Institute. Drawing from real-life success stories, he highlighted the achievements of candidates who secured top All India Ranks in UPSC exams despite limited resources. His motivational talk emphasized the importance of strong determination, focused preparation, and strategic planning in achieving career goals.

Vishnu Vardhan provided a detailed roadmap for cracking competitive exams, stressing the effective use of available resources and consistency in effort. As a generous gesture, he donated a set of valuable preparatory books to the college library and announced that 100% free coaching would be offered to meritorious students through an upcoming scholarship-based program.

College Principal Prof. B. Chandramouli expressed gratitude for the initiative and assured students of full support from the institution. He encouraged them to explore the best opportunities and mentioned plans to launch free evening coaching sessions at the college from 4 PM to 6 PM in the near future.

Over 100 students enthusiastically participated in the seminar and interacted during the Q&A session. Vishnu also promised to provide a free Current Affairs PDF to aid students in their exam preparation.

Career Guidance Convener J. Lakan Singh urged students to seize such opportunities, while Vice Principal G. Suhasini applauded the initiative and encouraged student participation. Dr. G. Renuka, Head of the Microbiology Department and co-convener, played a crucial role in organizing the event. Faculty members including Dr. B. Mahita, K. Vaishnavi, Ch. Navyabhanu, B. Santhoshi, and librarian Ugender also participated.

The seminar concluded on a high note, leaving students inspired and better equipped to pursue their civil service aspirations.
