Fake Doctor Caught Practicing at Renowned Hospital in Telangana I

NEWS CHARIOT:-In a shocking incident, a fake doctor has been caught practicing medicine at a well-known hospital in Madinaguda, Telangana. This incident was uncovered by the Telangana Medical Council Vigilance officials, who conducted a surprise inspection at Ankura Hospital in the Miyapur police station limits. The fake doctor, identified as Bharat Kumar, was working as a pediatrician despite not having the necessary qualifications.

According to the Telangana Medical Council, Bharat Kumar had been claiming to have an MBBS degree, although he had never completed the required medical education. Further investigation revealed that he had not passed the mandatory exams for foreign medical graduates, nor was he registered with the Telangana Medical Council, which is a legal requirement for practicing medicine in the state.

During the surprise inspection, the medical certificates of all doctors at Ankura Hospital were reviewed, and it was discovered that Bharat Kumar had been using fake credentials. He had joined the hospital under the false pretense of being an MBBS graduate and had been treating children in the pediatric department. The fake certificates he presented were listed as valid from 2016 to 2026, although the Telangana Medical Council only validates such certificates for five years.

In addition to using fake credentials, it was found that Bharat Kumar had been using the registration number of a real doctor, Dr. Bhairam Bharat Kumar. The two are suspected to have a personal connection, but this is still under investigation.

The hospital management failed to verify the authenticity of Bharat Kumar’s credentials before hiring him. The Telangana Medical Council has launched a full investigation into the matter, including checking his salary, work duration, and any complaints against his treatments.

Following the investigation, the Telangana Medical Council filed a complaint with the Miyapur Police, leading to the registration of a case under multiple sections. Bharat Kumar, however, claims that he was deceived in the entire process, and the police are currently investigating the matter further.
