Fatal Accident on Hyderabad-Khammam National Highway: Private Bus Collides with Parked Lorry

NEWS CHARIOT (KHAMMAM, JAN.10) A tragic accident occurred early Friday morning near Ailapuram in the Mandal area, where a private bus collided with a stationary lorry on the Hyderabad-Khammam National Highway. The bus, operated by Gupta Private Travels from Odisha, was transporting migrant workers from Chhattisgarh to Hyderabad. The incident took place when the bus, reportedly traveling at high speed, crashed into the lorry parked by the roadside.

The accident resulted in the death of four people on the spot, while eight others sustained injuries. At the time of the crash, it is believed that there were 32 passengers onboard the bus. Local authorities, led by DSP Ravi, swiftly arrived at the scene, and the injured were rushed to the Area Hospital for treatment.
