Government to Finalize Beneficiary List Soon for Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme
NEWS CHARIOT:-The state government is in the final stages of reviewing applications for the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme. Officials have indicated that the process will be completed within a few days, after which the final list of beneficiaries will be announced.
In a significant update, the government has provided a second chance for applicants who were unable to submit hard copies of their applications during the initial registration phase. Responding to numerous appeals, authorities have now allowed these applicants to submit physical copies at Mandal Praja Palana Service Centers or local ward offices. Applicants must attach all required documents along with the application form and are urged to complete the process promptly.
To help applicants track their application status, the government has enabled an online facility. Applicants can visit the official Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme website, click on the “Application Print” option, and input their Corporation, Application ID, and Aadhaar number. Once submitted, their details will be displayed, and they can download or print their application copy.
Officials noted a high level of interest in business categories such as kirana/general stores and tent houses. The government is currently identifying eligible candidates, with plans to release the final list shortly. It is also considering issuing official approval documents to selected beneficiaries on June 2.
The scheme offers subsidized loans ranging from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 4 lakhs. Under Category-1, units valued at Rs. 50,000 are eligible for a 100% subsidy, with no bank linkage required. For higher loan categories, however, bank linkage is mandatory as per existing guidelines.
With the scheme aimed at promoting self-employment among youth, authorities believe it will contribute significantly to rural and urban entrepreneurship development. The final beneficiary announcement is expected to provide clarity and momentum for thousands of aspiring young entrepreneurs across the state.
