Kalyan Ram’s New Film ‘Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi’ Gears Up for Release with Strong Emotional Core

NEWS CHARIOT:-Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, known for picking unconventional and genre-defying films, is all set to hit the big screen again with his upcoming release ‘Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi’. Unlike other commercial heroes from the Nandamuri family, Kalyan Ram has made a name for himself by experimenting with diverse scripts. While his career has seen both hits and flops, his passion for different storytelling styles remains constant.

After tasting major success last year as a producer with the blockbuster ‘Devara’ featuring his brother Jr. NTR, Kalyan Ram is continuing his journey behind the camera as well. His latest production, ‘Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi’, has completed all post-production formalities and is scheduled to release in theatres on April 17.

One of the biggest highlights of this film is the return of veteran actress Vijayashanti in a powerful role. Known as the ‘Lady Superstar’, Vijayashanti plays a strict and justice-driven police officer. The film revolves around a compelling emotional conflict between her and her son, played by Kalyan Ram. While the mother believes in law and order, the son fights injustice in his own unconventional way, creating dramatic tension.

The film recently completed its censor formalities and was granted a UA certificate. The final runtime is set at 2 hours and 24 minutes. Censor board members have praised the film’s emotional depth and impactful screenplay, particularly highlighting the strong mother-son scenes, which they say are rare and refreshing in recent Telugu cinema.

Directed by newcomer Pradeep Chilukuri, the film marks his debut in Tollywood. Kalyan Ram has previously introduced successful directors like Anil Ravipudi and Surender Reddy, and expectations are high for Pradeep to follow in their footsteps.
