Manmadudu fame Anshu making come back with Majaka

NEWS CHARIOT (Hyderabad, Nov-22) : Anshu Ambani who played a scintillating role in her debut in Telugu film with ‘Manmadhudu’ as a love interest to Nagarjuna is making a comeback to Tollywood after more than two decades.

Fashion designer-turned-actress Anshu Ambani donned grease paint after a long time and would be seen in ‘Majaka’ featuring opposite Sundeep Kishan.

“She was looking pretty and impressed in the role of an innocent girl and the film turned out to be a big hit. Her song ‘Gundello Emundo’ with Nagarjuna became a rage,” said the source.

She also shared screen space with Prabhas in ‘Raghavendra’. She also did the Tamil film ‘Jail’ and quit acting after getting married and then moved to London.

While makers were looking for a popular actress for their film ‘Mataka’, they approached Anshu who liked her role, and flew down from London to Hyderabad.

Senior heroines like Nadiya, Kushboo, Tabu, and Sukanya play important roles in Telugu films with new-age stars and Anshu may also get a few chances.
