Minister Seethakka Expresses Anger Over Photo Morphing and Online Harassment

NEWS CHARIOT:-Minister Seethakka has expressed deep anguish after her photos were morphed on social media, causing her significant mental distress. She criticized the way some individuals have distorted sibling relationships, falsely portraying them for malicious purposes. Seethakka emphasized how overwhelming the negative impact of social media has been, saying it has caused her immense mental strain. She stressed the urgent need to address these harmful activities and stated that the personal attacks on social media have greatly affected her morale.
The Minister also condemned the use of social media by the BRS party for spreading lies, which she claims are damaging to families. She revealed that she felt a sense of relief when CM Revanth Reddy spoke about the dangers of social media during a Telangana Assembly session, calling attention to the detrimental effects it has on individuals. Seethakka also pointed out the struggle women face in politics, stressing that despite reaching higher levels in their careers, they are still subjected to unnecessary harassment and trouble.
Reflecting on her own experiences, Seethakka revealed how she was severely criticized on social media during the COVID-19 pandemic for her service. She highlighted the negative impact of body shaming and the morphing of her photos, accusing her critics of misrepresenting her words and actions. She also noted that the intensity of these attacks had increased since the Congress assumed power, with her family moments being manipulated for political gain.
