Mother Ends Life After Killing Her Two Sons in Heart-Wrenching Incident Near Hyderabad

NEWS CHARIOT:-In a shocking and deeply saddening incident, a woman from Gajularamaram on the outskirts of Hyderabad killed her two sons before taking her own life. The tragedy has left the local community in shock and raised concerns about mental health and the social stigma surrounding illness.
The woman, identified as Tejaswini, hailed from Sathupalli in Khammam district. She was married to Gandra Venkateshwara Reddy, and the couple had two young sons. Both children were suffering from a rare eye condition that caused severe pain unless treated with eye drops every two hours. Watching her children suffer daily reportedly pushed Tejaswini into a state of deep emotional distress.
Unable to cope with the constant pain of her children and feeling isolated, Tejaswini made the tragic decision to end their lives. According to police, she killed the boys with a knife while her husband was away at work and later jumped off the apartment building to her death.
Authorities found an eight-page suicide note at the scene, in which Tejaswini expressed her anguish and apologized to her parents. She questioned why God had given such pain to her children and said she could no longer bear to see them suffer. She also requested that none of her property be given to her husband, and instead be donated to orphans and school children.
Family members revealed that Tejaswini had been struggling with depression for a long time. Social stigma, including blame from relatives and lack of support at home, added to her mental burden. Even her husband reportedly told her in frustration to “die if you want to,” which may have been a trigger for the incident.
Heartbreakingly, the family was preparing to celebrate the birthday of Tejaswini’s elder son just two days later. New clothes had been bought and relatives invited. Instead, what should have been a joyous occasion turned into an unimaginable tragedy.Police have registered a case and are continuing the investigation.
