Mystery Solved: Police Arrest Woman Linked to Wazedu SI’s Tragic Suicide

NEWS CHARIOT (Mulugu, Dec.16) : The police busted the death mystery of the Wazedu SI R.Harish who ended his life by shooting with his service revolver in a hotel room on December 2 here at Eturnagaram mandal of Mulugu district.

The police arrested the woman who was present along with SI in the room when the incident occurred and was identified as Banoth Anasurya (29) alias Anusha. The police suspected the involvement of the women in the suicide case of SI Harish, but somehow, she managed to escape from them all these days.

According to the police, seven months back, Harish received a missed call from Anasurya who was working as an administrative staff at a private college in Hyderabad and later they got introduced to each other. In the name of love Anasurya started moving closely with SI Harish.

Meanwhile, the family members of SI settled his marriage with another woman and fixed engagement with her. Learning about the marriage settlement, Anasurya started harassing Harish. She began black-mail Harish, threatening that she would go before the media and expose him for having physical relations with her illegally.

When Anasurya came to Wazedu, Harish booked the hotel room and tried to convince her the whole night. Both indulged in a heated argument at night and in the early morning. Not able to bear her torture, Harish ended his life shooting with his service revolver.

In the investigation, police learnt that because of the blackmailing done by Anasurya, SI Harish had taken an extreme step of ending his life and shot himself. Anasurya was the resident of Dudiya Thanda of Chilkuru mandal in Suryapet district. The police took Anasurya into their custody and sent her for remand.
