NEWSCHARIOT (Warangal, Oct.27) : The National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NIN-W) organised an expert Lecture on “ Culture of Integrity on Nation’s Prosperity” and “Awareness on Cyber Crimes” as part of Vigilance Awareness Week here at seminal hall complex at the premises of the university in Hanamkonda.
The Director, NIT Warangal Prof.Bidyadhar Subudhi and Prof.A.Venu Gopal the Chief Vigilance Officer (I/C) were present as chief guests at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi stressed the importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability in both personal and professional spheres. He encouraged everyone to take a stand against corruption and maintain ethical standards in all actions.
Prof.A.Venu Gopal welcomed the participants and said that the expert lectures are organised as part of observing Vigilance Awareness Week at NIT Warangal. He introduced the speaker Shri.P. Madhav Reddy, Founder of Zero Budget Politics and also an Alumnus of Electrical Engineering, NIT Warangal.
P. Madhava Reddy elaborated on the importance of integrity of an individual in building the nation. The higher the measure of integrity, the better will be the organization’s performance. He highlighted that a culture rooted in honesty and ethical behavior forms the foundation for societal progress and national prosperity.
He spoke on some important ways to foster integrity at the workplace. Later, he also spoke on the very contemporary topic “awareness on cybercrimes”. He said that a lot of learned individuals are turning victims of such crimes. He advised it is very important to always stay vigilant while using the internet.
