OpenText Software company to adopt 4 villages in Mulug
NEWS CHARIOT (Mulug, Dec.18) : In part of the ‘One Corporate-One Village’ initiative the Open Text Software company in association Nirmaan Organization is going to adopt four villages of Mulugu district to develop them into model communities, said the Managing Director of the company Manoj Nagpal in a statement released.
It is to be noted here that the ‘One Corporate-One Village’ initiative was launched by the Nirmaan Organization in collaboration with the Government of Telangana to derive grassroot development across the rural Telangana.
Manoj Nagpal said that the Open Text software company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nirmaan Organization to adopt four villages which include Chandru Thanda, LB Nagar, Kodishalakunta and Jagannapet of Mulugu district.
The initiative will focus on a wide range of developmental interventions, including the construction of Anganwadi buildings, installation of solar lighting systems, provision of water tanks, borewells, school repairs, health camps and distribution of bicycles to students with a planned investment of Rs.1 crore to bring positive impact over 5,000 individuals particularly from the VTG (Vulnerable Tribal Group) and tribal communities.
With this initiative Open Text along with Nirmaan Organization look forward to contributing to the larger good of society, creating an inclusive environment, empowering communities with sustainable solutions for growth and progress of four villages that are adopted.
