Passenger Held for Harassing Air Hostess on Delhi–Shirdi IndiGo Flight
NEWS CHARIOT:-A shocking incident unfolded aboard an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Shirdi on Friday afternoon, where a passenger allegedly molested an air hostess under the influence of alcohol. The incident came to light only later, prompting swift police action upon landing.
According to official reports, the accused passenger misbehaved with the air hostess near the aircraft’s toilet area. He reportedly touched her inappropriately, causing distress to the crew member. The air hostess immediately reported the incident to the crew manager, following standard procedure.
Upon receiving the complaint, the flight crew informed ground security officials at Shirdi Airport. As soon as the aircraft landed, the passenger was taken into custody by local police. He was later transferred to the Rahata Police Station for further investigation.
A medical examination conducted after his detention confirmed that the accused had consumed alcohol. Police sources stated that the man was under the influence during the flight, which likely contributed to his inappropriate behavior. Based on the medical report and the air hostess’s complaint, a formal case was registered against him.
