Solar Eclipse on March 29, 2025: A Rare Celestial Event with Astrological Significance

NEWS CHARIOT:-The world is set to witness the first solar eclipse of 2025 on March 29. This follows the first lunar eclipse of the year, which took place on March 14, coinciding with Holi celebrations. The upcoming solar eclipse is being considered highly significant, not just from an astronomical standpoint but also due to its astrological implications.
As per Indian Standard Time (IST), the solar eclipse will begin at 2:20 PM and end at 4:17 PM. However, this partial solar eclipse will not be visible in India, as it will take place during nighttime in the country.
Despite its invisibility in India, the eclipse will be seen in several parts of the world, including Bermuda, Barbados, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, France, Hungary, Ireland, Morocco, Greenland, Eastern Canada, Netherlands, Portugal, Northern Russia, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Poland, Norway, Ukraine, Switzerland, England, and the eastern regions of the United States.
Since the eclipse will not be visible in India, it will not hold any religious significance, and the customary Sutak period (a period of abstaining from certain activities before an eclipse) will not be observed.
Astrologers claim that March 29 is a rare celestial event due to the solar eclipse coinciding with Saturn’s transit. The day also falls on Phalguna Amavasya, making it even more important in Vedic astrology. During the eclipse, the Sun, Rahu, Venus, Mercury, and Moon will be aligned in the Pisces zodiac sign, which astrologers believe could bring notable planetary effects. Additionally, Saturn will move from Aquarius to Pisces on the same day, a transition that happens after several years.
This report is based on astrological predictions and religious beliefs. There is no scientific evidence to support these claims. Readers are advised to interpret the information as per their personal beliefs.
