SR University Hosts Grand Inauguration of SparkRill 25 Celebrations
NEWS CHARIOT : SR University, located on the outskirts of Hasanparthy, kicked off the highly anticipated SparkRill 25 celebrations with a grand inauguration today. The event was a vibrant display of student talent, featuring an array of exciting activities, including cultural showcases, dance and singing competitions, tambola, mehendi design, and more.
Dr. Suraj Nandakumar, the program convener, shared that the first day of the event was filled with enthusiasm as students participated in numerous activities, bringing their creativity and energy to the forefront.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Chancellor of SR University, Sri A. Varada Reddy, who highlighted the significance of such events in helping students uncover their hidden talents and fostering holistic development. Prof. Deepak Garg, Vice-Chancellor, encouraged students to utilize this platform to showcase their skills in both technical and cultural areas.
The event saw the presence of prominent university officials, including Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. V. Mahesh, Registrar Dr. Archana Reddy, Dean of Student Welfare Dr. A.V.V. Sudhakar, and Student Council Conveners Shashidhar Reddy and Bhavana Panisri, along with students from various colleges.
The celebrations included a diverse lineup of 23 events, ranging from a Treasure Hunt, Ramp Walk, and Live Band Performances, to Dance Shows, Singing Competitions, Cooking Contests, and creative activities like Brush & Blush.
Excitingly, on the second day (26th January), a Pro Night will take place at 5:00 PM, showcasing the impressive performances of students who have trained for three months. The evening will be capped off with a grand musical performance by the renowned singer Shanmuka Priya at 7:00 PM.
