CID officials, working under the Clinical Establishments Act of 2010, visited multiple hospitals across Khammam for questioning. Their findings revealed that ten hospitals were involved in issuing fake CMRF bills. The hospitals were allegedly collaborating with political leaders and rural medical practitioners (RMPs) to generate these fraudulent bills, which were then submitted to the government for reimbursement.
