Telangana CM A.Revanth Reddy Announces Support for Civil Services Aspirants

NEWS CHARIOT (HYDERABAD, JAN.6) : Telangana Chief Minister K. Revanth Reddy expressed pride over the state’s achievements in employment generation, stating that Telangana has become a model for job creation in the country. He emphasized that within the first year of the Congress government, the state successfully filled 55,143 government positions, marking an unprecedented achievement in India.
Speaking at the Rajiv Gandhi Civil Services Abhayahasta Scheme event, where cheques were distributed to Civil Services aspirants, the CM highlighted the government’s commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the state’s youth, especially in the job sector. He also presented cheques of Rs. 1 lakh each to 20 students who had qualified for the Civil Services Mains examination.
Government’s Focus on Employment and Youth Empowerment
The Chief Minister noted that Telangana was created with the primary goal of addressing the employment needs of the youth. Despite the state facing unemployment challenges in the first decade of its existence, the Congress government has made significant strides to create opportunities for young people.
Success in Group-1 Exams and Civil Services
Revanth Reddy spoke about the successful completion of the Group-1 exams, which were held after 14 years, filling 563 Group-1 posts by the end of March 2025. He also credited the success of candidates from Bihar for inspiring Telangana’s Civil Services aspirants, leading the state to launch the Rajiv Civil Services Abhayahasta Scheme, providing financial support to encourage aspirants to pursue their goals.
Future of Telangana’s Youth
The CM expressed optimism that hard-working and committed candidates would be rewarded through this initiative, and that more aspirants would succeed in the upcoming interviews and civil services selections. He reiterated that the government would continue to prioritize the future of the youth, offering full support to Civil Services aspirants.
The Chief Minister concluded by setting a goal for the state to reach a point where it can proudly claim the highest number of Civil Services selections from Telangana, emphasizing the government’s commitment to empowering the youth.
