TS SSC Results 2024: Girls Outshine Boys as Telangana Registers 98.2% Pass Rate

NEWS CHARIOT:-The Telangana State Board of Secondary Education (TSBSE) has officially released the Class 10 (SSC) exam results on Wednesday, with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announcing the results at 2:15 PM during a special event at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad.
This year witnessed a record-breaking pass percentage of 98.2% statewide, reflecting a significant improvement in academic performance. A major highlight of this year’s results is the exceptional performance of government residential schools, which secured a 98.7% pass rate, surpassing even many private institutions.
In terms of gender-wise performance, girls once again outshone boys, with 94.26% of them passing the exams compared to 91.32% of boys. The education department praised the consistent efforts of students, teachers, and school management in achieving such high results.
The SSC exams were conducted from March 21 to April 4, with nearly 5 lakh students appearing from across the state. The board has made the results accessible on its official websites: https://results.bsetelangana.
In a notable shift in the evaluation system, this year onwards, students will receive subject-wise marks along with grades. Earlier, only CGPA and subject-wise grades were issued. The revised mark memos will now include written exam scores, internal assessment marks, total scores, and corresponding grades, aiming to bring more transparency and clarity to students and parents.
Education officials emphasized that this detailed grading system will help students better understand their academic standing and prepare accordingly for higher education.
Parents and students have welcomed both the results and the new evaluation format, appreciating the government’s initiative to improve educational transparency and quality.
