TTD Provides Relief to Devotees Amid Summer Rush; Padmavati Parinayotsavam Preparations in Full Swing

NEWS CHARIOT:-With the onset of summer vacations, Tirumala has been witnessing a heavy influx of devotees arriving from across the country to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. In light of the increasing crowd, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has taken several measures to ease the darshan process for pilgrims.

To address the massive rush, TTD has introduced direct darshan facilities for devotees, eliminating the need to wait for long hours in the compartments of the Vaikuntam Queue Complex. This move has brought considerable relief to common pilgrims, especially during the peak summer season. Additionally, the temporary cancellation of break darshans—usually reserved for VIPs—has made more slots available for the general public, further enhancing access for ordinary devotees.

As per official reports, on the previous day alone, an impressive 83,380 pilgrims had darshan of Lord Venkateswara, while 27,936 devotees performed talanilas, a sacred ritual offering. The temple earned a substantial revenue of Rs 3.35 crore in a single day, reflecting the massive footfall and unwavering devotion of the pilgrims.

Meanwhile, TTD is all set to celebrate the annual Padmavati Parinayotsavam with grandeur and spiritual fervor. The three-day celestial wedding festival of Lord Srinivasa with Goddess Padmavati will commence tomorrow. Elaborate arrangements have been made by TTD to ensure the smooth conduct of the festivities, including decoration, security, and crowd management.

In view of the upcoming Parinayotsavam celebrations, TTD has announced the cancellation of Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Sahasradeepalankarana services for three days within the temple premises. These services will resume post the completion of the Parinayotsavam.
